Concrete Polishing – Stirling Sports

Project: Refurbishment floor for retail sports store concrete grind and polish.

Requirements: To remove the existing flooring glue and overlay on approximately 300 sq/meters. Fill existing holes and polish the 50 year old concrete to give a rustic concrete floor polished appearance that is suitable for a retail outlet. Time frame given 4 days.

Result: Our first exercise was to remove the existing coatings, level the concrete and flatten the floor. We used a mixture of all our machines – even thou there was a large amount of floor space, it was broken by many column supports. The concrete was soft and needed a lot of hardening to create a surface that could be polished to be dust free. Even thou the floor is 50+ years old and soft,  the result has been fantastic.
