Victoria Park Project – Concrete Grinding Auckland

Project: The Auckland Council’s Victoria park alliance project with Fletchers, Concrete grinding or honing for basketball court.

Requirements: Fletcher Construction required a safe dust free environment while concrete grinding to show the natural stone and to provide a slip co-efficent rating of +.6.

Description: The concrete mix was a combination of sea shells and river stone combined with exposed aggregate. Our job was to grind certain areas and seal the concrete in an invisible sealer to provide protection from the elements.

The project went smoothly and quickly with NZ Grinders removing 1.2 ton of concrete grinding dust from the site in 12 hours.  Attention to detail was given around bollards and ramp areas plus the impressive circle ground for the 3 point score line for playing basket ball.
