Polished Concrete – CTC Air Craft Hanger
Project: CTC Air Craft Maintenance Hanger in Hamilton contacted us regarding a delaminating coating system that had failed due to poor preparation.
Requirements: Using HTC Superfloor Stain Protection system we knew our certified NZ Grinders crew could deliver a long life durable and maintainable floor that had the needed stain protection from skydrol and other oils while giving the hanger an all over brightness and feel that workers enjoy.
Result: CTC decided that this was their best option instead of going to another epoxy coating and working along side their time frames we delivered the 800 SQ/M floor back to them within 3 days, ready for use. The finish after epoxy removal was a salt and pepper grind. This allowed the floor to still be very dense and cost effective. Their hanger took on a shinny polished concrete floor look that has uplifted their work environment. Over all a very positive result.
